This manicured, highly managed garden nearly surrounded by Crystal Springs Lake has an outstanding collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, and other lesser-known ericaceous plants as well as many companion plants and unusual trees. While most of the site is a lovingly tended and truly beautiful garden, the messy looking patch of shrubs and marsh vegetation seen from the bridge is excellent wildlife habitat. A perfect place to take your kids on a sunny afternoon. It has plenty of shade and sun, plus lots of wildlife for your kids to learn about.
Entrance Fees Admission is $3 charged between 10:00am-6:00pm, Thursday through Monday, March through Labor Day. Admission is free for children under 12 and Friends of Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden.
